Time to assess cane fields in CS Brazil, in the midst of rainfall. The old adage says “rain makes cane”, but we should keep our eyes to other nuances too.
Heavy pours in Araçatuba-SP. Good for cane development after one of the driest years. But will mills end crushing operations earlier in 24/25? Weather shall remain rainier next couple of weeks.
Touring through cane fields of Araçatuba. Although it’s used to be a problematic region in terms of soil conditions, I can’t remember the last time when cane turned that dry in late June. Uploading pictures and primary data to our clients. #datagrocropsurvey
There are expectations of light showers in PR and MS late this week. Still, not enough that could change the whole picture. We are at fields, daily basis, investigating cane conditions, and things are not promising. For more details, take a look at our Datagro Crop Survey report
