How do we prepare our stores for buyers who aren’t human? What will the storefront look like? What do bots want to see? Which purchases will humans fully trust them with? And what will make a bot choose our products? That’s what I’m experimenting with.
Grok Bot can now save credit cards, and people seem more comfortable with it than they were just days ago. Trust has always been the biggest challenge for AI shopping. Maybe that’s changing. I’m excited to welcome buyers who aren’t human to my Shopify store 😍
I’m really excited to see how agentic commerce evolves over the next 3–6 months. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a huge surge in purchases made by AI bots across e-commerce.

@Texas_Twins_Dad I need this! Haha. I’m getting tired of holding my phone too. 😂 I think once wearables like smart glasses, watches, and earbuds with voice AI become common, Grok @bot will just be part of everyday life.
This is bigger than just saving card details. AI has been able to shop for us for a while. The hard part has always been getting people to trust it with their purchases. Grok Bot might finally change that. 👌

A little context: I’m experimenting with building and running a Shopify store alongside 3 Grok Bots. The focus: e-commerce funnels where the buyer is a Bot, not a Human. From discovery and search to recommendations and checkout. Next: moving my workflows to @bot, step by step.
I use Brandsearch a lot to research Shopify stores. It’s one of my favorite tools. Recently, I wanted to bring it into my Grok Bot @bot workflow. So I asked Ryan, the builder on my AI team, to help me make it happen. And here we are. 😎

@harrisonju Great question! I’m more interested in the second scenario: giving the bot an intent, not a SKU. “Find a gift for my dad under $50” is exactly the kind of journey I want to explore. Still early days, though. Curious how you’d approach it!
