Software is never "late." The problem is that we don't know how to estimate what amounts to basic research. Let's just stop pretending that we do, and plan based on reality.

If some business person or PO doesn’t want to “pay for bug fixes.,” bear in mind that they’re paying big time (in cost of delay, increased dev time, etc) for NOT fixing the bug. Often that cost is far larger than the revenue generated by a new story/feature.

This may shock you, but it’s possible to have high standards for self, team, and company WITHOUT being an asshole. Assholes are a net negative no matter how productive or brilliant they are. Get rid of them or you’ll never escape the local maximum of innovation you’re at.

Ich mag den Begriff #WorkLifeBalance nicht. Er impliziert, dass es #Work und #Life gibt, also #Work nicht zum #Life gehört. Wie traurig wenn wir einen Großteil unseres Tages nicht Leben würden, weil wir Arbeiten. #LifeBalance gefällt mir da eindeutig besser.
