Thank you so much for the beautiful send off on Friday and for your cards, gifts and kind words. It’s been an absolute privilege to teach such lovely children and I’m going to miss them all while I’m off. Have a fab final four weeks of term and a lovely summer when it comes! 🌻

Everyone has made fantastic progress at chess club! You can hear the cogs turning as players plan ahead. We had a little treat for our final session.. ♟️🍰 It’s hard to stay seated when those games become intense - what a fab bunch of successful learners! 😁👏🏻 @woodside_school

We have absolutely loved our sessions at Aberdeen Sports Village. Lots of us had never been to a swimming pool before and 5 weeks later it’s the highlight of the week! We’re sad it’s over but hopeful adults at home will continue to take us swimming ☺️🤞🏻 @woodside_school

Our creative learners got to take home their tie dyed T-shirts today! (Please remember to wash with darks in future.) Children are invited to wear 1960s inspired fashion on Tuesday 23rd May. Their tie dye creations could be the perfect solution! Here are some fab examples 😎🍭

🏊‍♀️ 🌊 Just a reminder that swimming starts for all P6 pupils this Thursday (4th May) and will continue weekly. Children will need their own swimming bag with swimming costume/trunks and a towel. We will leave after break and return in time for lunch as usual. @woodside_school

🎨👕 Children who would like to take part in a groovy textile art project will require a plain white cotton t-shirt. I’d recommend one or two sizes larger than usual as they will be washed at a high temperature. Deadline for t-shirts - Friday 28th April 🍭 Let’s get creative! 😁
