Ange represents something important in football, a Hollywood story. Every aspect of him, from his tactics to his charisma, is larger than life. That being said, the revisionist history I'm seeing is absurd. Frank's poor managerial performance does not excuse prior incompetence.

worst possible result. Had we lost in the embarrassing fashion that we deserved then there was a chance to learn from it. Expect the lack of central progression to continue, as well as prioritizing risk aversion in build up play.

"Driven diagonals" is not overly complex terminology. Palhinha's diagonals are often chipped with too much arc on them, giving the defense time to shift their block. If he's able to play those passes faster & flatter then the defense has less recovery time & more space to cover.
