Having the choice to live in Ann Arbor is better than being forced to commute in. Vibrancy and walkability is better than strip malls and parking lots. The solution here is more housing, density and mixed used neighborhoods. That’s why I’m voting @A2Jenn today

I got my start with making flash websites. All nav items had to slide around when you moused over them. Also every website needed a fancy loading animation. What's old is new again.

At my last startup, we named our priority queues after the SLA they respected. Instead of "high", "medium" "low", they were "30s", "10m", "6h". We tracked "oldest job in queue" and alerted when we crossed the SLA. As opposed to queue depth. It worked incredibly well for us.
