1 fighter gave him a shot - Shogun, because Rashad got hurt. Everyone else after wanted the belt. And no one got it from him. Ever. Rampage, Machida, Rashad, Vitor, Chael, Glover, DC, et al. None of them “gave him a shot.” He gave them one, and ate them all alive.

How many 40+ sv nights does Igor make before Lav gets accused of being saved by his goalie? Was late in his 2nd season when it happened for Gallant, who was 99-46 as the NYR HC. Igor had two 40+ sv games that whole season. Not an endorsement or indictment, just a curiosity, etc.

Was always vocally confused by the gleeful reaction to GG firing next to the excitement over PL hiring the first year. 2 years each, and: GG: 99-46-19 (P.O.: 13-14) PL: 94-59-11 (P.O.: 10-6) As with prospects let’s all of us have a healthy skepticism, whomever gets hired next.
