If your company talks a good game about DE&I or EDI or whatever stringing together of those letters, why not ask them about how they plan on being "inclusive" of people who don't want to get COVID every few months out of legitimate concern for their safety & long term health

Working when you’re sick is not a symbol of commitment. It’s a symptom of a sick culture. In toxic workplaces, rest is a sign of weakness. You're expected to sacrifice yourself for your job. In healthy cultures, rest is a source of strength. Wellness is vital to doing your job.

I'm on my 4th week after testing positive for COVID. Still symptomatic, albeit less so. Losing my voice frequently. Easily tired out. Cognitive symptoms, notably memory issues are still lingering. I was so careful, then I went to an outdoor party in a park when cases were high.

I’m so tired of people in medical settings who SHOULD know better looking at me as if I’m ridiculous for working so hard to avoid catching a poorly understood viral disease with great potential to cause permanent damage. You’re the jackass here, not me.

Apparently you *still* can't get prescribed COVID antiviral therapy on a weekend in this country even if you meet their ridiculously restrictive criteria, because it's prescribed by s centralized clinic per area and nobody works there on the weekend.

So very sick of "mental health awareness week/month" shit at work. You know what would improve my mental health? Coverage for neurodevelopmental conditions on the company health plan.
