Very hard to know someone I thought was on my side has used my mental health against me. Even harder to just let it go because they're not worth the energy of being upset about it.

How do you forgive people who don't realise what they've done, have never said sorry and who will continue to act in harmful ways? I just don't know how I'm meant to make peace with this when I am so full of anger and resentment.

Mental illness is wild; on Monday I was on the phone to Samaritans trying to keep myself safe, today I feel tip top and really self assured. Crazy how much it waxes and wanes.

Feeling lots of shame over being someone who self-harms today, specifically that I started it as an adult. Feels like as someone in their twenties I should have had the 'maturity' or strength not to or something. Idk, feel very embarrassed by it all and wish no one knew.

Sure- people say "seeing is believing." But if you need to “see” to believe then you're part of the stigma problem. We acknowledge that wind, love, radio waves, gravity, God (for some) all exist even though we can’t see them. So why not depression? #SickNotWeak
