How good was the first drawing you ever made? Most consumable software is the first time that group of people has ever written that kind of app. Practice coding what you want to release because the first time you get it to work, its not going to be very good.

If your dev tools can warn you when a value that doesn't exist was referenced and you didn't have to run that branch of your program, you're building software with technology from at most 50 years ago. Somehow, new tools still come out that make me play the guessing game.

Finished up my first #PureScript app! It's a birthday present for my mom that generates one of her favorite puzzles, Wordoku. It's a sudoku with letters where the diagonal forms an English word. Print and play at sudoku.nathanielmay.com.

Have an idea for an app? First figure out how to build it without an app. Most "apps" were just people with landlines and notebooks for the last hundred years.
