A much better solution would be to make your shader pre-compilation step actually work by catching most/all shaders. Having a ton of stutters on your first playthrough ruins the experience and makes you reluctant to continue the game.

NASCAR 25 is developed by iRacing Studios. The game will have laser scanned cars & tracks from the iRacing sim, but it will be using Unreal Engine 5. Interesting choice for a racing game. Will be interesting to see how it performs. youtu.be/Jst-kl319Hk?si…

That's because the PS5 is not a premium console for premium gamers. Get a PS5 Pro, and then Borderlands 4 will only drop to 1.45 FPS.

Randy makes a great point. If you want to play BL4, which looks better than Hellblade 2 or path traced Cyberpunk, you cannot expect to do so on traditional gaming GPUs. You need to bring out the big guns to enjoy this masterpiece with a good level of performance.

Borderlands 4 performance & resolution scaling. Performs in line with other UE5 games I tested recently, except the shader comp phase doesn't seem to catch all shaders. Wasn't able to test later areas due to frequent crashes, which is my biggest gripe. youtube.com/watch?v=ZMN1XQ…

Borderlands 4 launched in an absolutely disgraceful state. Not just the frame rate, but constant crashing. I tried testing a later part in the game, but I ultimately gave up. Video will be published soon, but right now, the game is a waste of time and money.
