@PatrickPass35 Oh I don't know, 4-13 with a bottom three quarterback and possibly a worse supporting cast, after a 4-year "rebuild." Seems like fireable circumstances. No one else wants Bill now either so the Krafts are hardly alone.

@SmittySumthin @PatsFanEst1986 You don't treat and say things like that about somebody you want to stick around. Bill dug his grave, so now he can lie in it.

@SmittySumthin @PatsFanEst1986 So you're going to ignore the things Bill did and said about Brady behinds the scenes? Like Brady's no better than any top 15 QB in the league. Showing Kraft film of Brady supposedly "declining." Throwing his personal trainer out of the building. Treating him like shit generally.

@SmittySumthin @PatsFanEst1986 Bill should have wanted Brady to retire a Patriot, Bill's legacy wouldn't have taken such a massive hit.

@SmittySumthin @PatsFanEst1986 The Patriots Dynasty reached an abrupt end because of Belichick. He killed it and then he drove the team into the ground. Fired. Unemployable. Meanwhile, Brady won another Super Bowl and had an MVP caliber season. Retired at age 45 with barely a hint of decline.

@SmittySumthin @PatsFanEst1986 lol dude, Bill thought he could win with any top 15 QB which is the apex of overconfidence. We're talking about the GOAT QB here. It's well documented, and supported by quotes, Bill treated Brady like garbage, Brady got fed up with it and said he would NEVER play for Bill again.

@PatsFanEst1986 Bill was making things unnecessarily difficult for Brady. Kraft should have stepped in more forcefully on that one. He also should have blocked any trade of Brady, if one was ever truly conceived. And Kraft never should have let Brady walk after 2019. He sided with the wrong guy.

@PatsFanEst1986 I don't believe Callahan reported anything to draw the conclusion that Bill wanted Meyers but he chose JuJu instead because the scouts, or Kraft, or anyone else made him do it.

@TheGerman21 @PatsFanEst1986 Makes total sense to rely on input from your scouting department. Buy yeah, it's Bill's ultimately decision on which player to sign. He chose the wrong one. Bill made a lot of personnel mistakes.

@msully5433 Robert hid like a petrified child for a long time after the spa incident because he was bracing for the incredible embarrassment of the spa video being released. It never happened, so he's recaptured his confidence and he's been embolden by The Dynasty. Now he won't shut up.

@PatsFanEst1986 Where did you get that? Has Bill or anyone in the front office confirmed this? My understanding, because Bill told us so, is that Bill is ultimately responsible for every personnel decision. He makes the final call. If Bill wanted Meyers, he'd still be on the roster.

@dslack @HicksHi69000341 @SavageSports_ Kraft, Brady, McCourty, Slater, etc. had plenty of air time, providing input on a variety of topics. Obviously no one's 5-hour interview is being aired unedited. Each made statements that stand out, some negative about Bill, but they made them, and they haven't recanted.

@cehaydon @HicksHi69000341 @SavageSports_ 1. Bill benched Malcolm for personal reasons unrelated to the best interests of the team. 2. Players went on record saying Malcolm should have played and he would have made a difference. 3. Owner and players put the loss of SB 52 on Bill. Who has contradicted any of this?

@cehaydon @HicksHi69000341 @SavageSports_ Can't put the genie back in the bottle. Has Slater recanted this comment that he made?: "As players, I know we all felt strongly that Malcolm should have been out there. But that's not our call." No, he hasn't. Not one statement from anyone in The Dynasty has been recanted.

@dslack @HicksHi69000341 @SavageSports_ An NFL team lost a Super Bowl because their head coach, for a personal reason (confirmed by the owner), decided to bench a 98%-snap starter at an extremely important position (CB). Some players have publicly endorsed Belichick's decision losing the game. It's a BIG DEAL.

@HicksHi69000341 @dslack @SavageSports_ Slater: "As players, I know we all felt strongly that Malcolm should have been out there. But that's not our call." Matthew Slater for Christ's sake. Patriots lifer, no one more loyal to the organization. His comment is unmistakably clear. What further context would you need?

@HicksHi69000341 @dslack @SavageSports_ Amendola: "I remember walking off the field that night just really confused. That was the biggest game of our lives at the moment and Malcolm's not on the field? That shit kind of pisses me off still today... I feel like we got cheated a little bit, honestly." That's clear too.

@HicksHi69000341 @SavageSports_ McCourty: "If you would've told me going into the game that Malcolm's not going in, do you think that helps you win? I would say no. For that year, 98% of the time, Malcolm was on the field playing with us on defense." It's unmistakable what Devin is saying. Can't blame editing.
