And this is why it should remain an offence wether stationary or moving. Often if a driver uses their phone while stationary, they’ll use it when in motion too

These headlines are SOOO misleading. The poor chap was run over by a drink driver who didn’t stop. The fact he was on an e-scooter at the time isn’t the cause of his death! This seems to suggest he was hit by an e-scooter user 🤦‍♂️

Idiots like this are partly why the roads can be dangerous. They don’t know how the roads are funded and yet think it should be ok to hit them with their vehicle to make their (incompetent) point that a cyclist shouldn’t be on the road. Grow up and educate yourself
