Maybe the truth is that he turned further and further away from the roster being built, or the players tuned him out more and more. Something has felt broken with this team for a long time, and maybe this is the answer, maybe not. Only time will tell.

Leafs fans have a lot to thank Mike Babcock for over the last 4 years. He was the first piece of hope that things were turning around, and I hope a lot of his personal philosophies stay with the team. However, the leafs played worse every year he was coach. It was time.
