@SpeakerJohnson I have no less choice now than before ACA. My premiums haven’t skyrocketed. Health care costs go up because of monopolistic practices and technological advancements.

@KarenRu15583990 @hwinkler4real Well it’s his job to know who he’s pardoning and ask serious questions about it, like, did he aid and abet terrorists? Just wondering if all the Jan 6 rioters got pardoned this way too. He said he was going to pardon before he was even elected.

I just spent a full day at a pediatric bone and muscle research symposium - a mix of AI and genomics, molecular medicine and advanced mechanical prosthetics. Surgeons, professors, unbelievably smart and accomplished people - Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Emory, SHC Genomics…my mind is blown. One team has mapped ultrasound patterns from residual muscles in kids with missing limbs to an internal QR language that can control a mechanical-prosthetic hand well enough to play piano. Another has developed a programmable protein carrier molecule that can release its payload instantly, or 90-days later or anytime in between - a multistep vaccine in one shot? 3 months of injectable therapy in one visit? It’s coming… Another team using placental mesenchymal cells to repair spinal bifida in utero during fetal surgery - reversing what would have been lifetime paralysis. I watched a previously doomed newborn wiggle her toes and kick a leg that should never have moved. Mind blown…a gruff old spine surgeon sitting next to me started crying. People gasped, closed their eyes and prayed. I saw clips of CP kids walking with AI controlled exoskeletons, dozens of studies, each one a total jaw dropper - so many brilliant minds totally committed to helping previously-broken kids live full and rewarding lives. The best is yet to come… The West does not work these miracles because it is wealthy - the West is wealthy because it prioritizes these fights - that its brightest minds work tirelessly to fight for every life. For the chance to walk. To wiggle a toe. No culture that turns away from Life - that celebrates death, can ever surpass this... There were 47 speakers today, myself included. And 26 of us are Jews…

@JKSteinberger I wanted to comment saying Jews weren’t using Synagogues to wage war, but I am so glad to see many people already saying this. Get a clue. Yes the war is terrible. But Hamas continued existence is no longer tolerable. They should surrender and release all hostages.
