My back of the envelope calc on COGS is that with prod < Deliveries/sales of 40K in Q4, gr mgn will be 3ppts less than Q3. That works out to $.30/shr pretax. In addition, discounts, referral credits and 0% lease rates will further pressure margins. Maybe Q3 was peak eps? $TSLAQ

One hanging TSLA question; will Q4 revs be up yr/yr? “Deliveries” +20%, but mix has deteriorated and prices have been cut a similar amount…it might be down to the accrual (pull forward) of ZEV credits. Has rev growth ended? $tslaq

$tslaq As TSLA rev growth RATE declines, and eps est heads for $2.00 in 2024, deteriorating fundamentals must be offset by more hopium based on segments with no prospect of REVENUE (dojo, Optimus, robotaxi). Gonna be fascinating to watch the chasm betw what IS and only fantasy.

Just had a convo with a friend who has a reservation, excited about cyberf*k launch. I mentioned mftg probs and likely price creep from initial euphoria. He tells me he’s pretty sure dual motor price was locked in at $50k with his reservation. Excited to take delivery. $tslaq
