a few years ago a guy told me he thought i could run a sub-3 marathon someday and i laughed in his face. today i did a 2x30:00 steady state workout at 6:52 pace (at altitude). i’m finally beginning to think he might have been onto something

@Im_MIKE_G @RunnerBliss how is being honest acting like i’m better than others? should i have lied? i’ve literally just stated facts. i’ve also paid more and less to do other races. why are you so triggered by these basic facts

@TheStroBro honestly a lot of it is genetics (and eating & sleeping a lot) i think but also just… time. i’ve been averaging over 50 mpw for the last 9 years straight, and averaging closer to 70 mpw for the last 3 years
