Israeli forces unlawfully detained Brad Lander & dozens of American rabbis for harvesting olives in the West Bank. It's not illegal to harvest olives; Israel's genocide against the Palestinian people is. All detainees must be released immediately. We must end the genocide.

I’ve been released from IDF custody with a “warning,” apparently because of my public profile (I told them I wasn’t even a congressmember yet, just a nominee). But several dozen rabbis & participants harvesting olives with me are still in detention. For harvesting olives. They

Minnesota just effectively ended veteran homelessness. Through years of focused work and targeted investments, we’re delivering on the promise that any Minnesotan who raises their hand to serve our nation will have a safe and warm place to call home.

The Office of Congresswoman Omar released the following statement: “This raid by Trump’s DHS is an outrageous abuse of power and an unprecedented escalation in the weaponization of federal law enforcement to target political enemies. For a decade, Donald Trump has relentlessly targeted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar with inflammatory rhetoric, repeatedly putting a target on her back. Now, those attacks have escalated to a pointless federal raid. The Congresswoman has done nothing wrong. No president should be able to use the power of the federal government to intimidate his political enemies.”

ICE is out of control. This week, a five year-old child watched ICE shoot his father. Trump's rogue agency has shot more than 43 people in two years, murdering eight. There is no reforming this abhorrent agency. Abolish ICE.

9 months ago, ICE agent Jonathan Ross murdered Renée Good in broad daylight and called her a "fucking bitch" as he walked away. Renée's family and our community have yet to see justice for this senseless murder. It's unacceptable. We must prosecute and abolish ICE.

For years, the Israeli government has systematically destroyed the health system in Palestine, murdering at least 1,700 Palestinian doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare workers and destroying dozens of hospitals. Proud to join my colleagues in demanding the immediate release of Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya and all other arbitrarily detained healthcare workers and Palestinian prisoners.

Flock cameras track your every move. It’s creepy, dangerous, and raises serious civil rights concerns. Big Tech is pushing us toward an AI surveillance state. Americans deserve privacy, not unchecked surveillance. Ban Flock NOW.

Renée Good was killed in broad daylight for doing nothing, and her killer is allegedly still on our streets. Rep. @Ilhan Omar is right: this administration is blaming victims for their own deaths and letting their killers off easy. We must hold them accountable.

Renee Good's family deserves accountability and justice. The officer responsible for her death must be prosecuted and ICE must be abolished. This is the bare minimum. No family should have to suffer this kind of loss and trauma ever again.

My statement with @RepMcGovern and @RepGaramendi: We are deeply alarmed by increasing violence in Ethiopia, including the Ethiopian military strike last week on an aid convoy delivering assistance in Tigray. The 2022 Pretoria Agreement that silenced the guns in Northern Ethiopia committed all parties to ceasing hostilities, protecting civilians, allowing humanitarian access to those affected, and undertaking comprehensive transitional justice to hold those responsible for human rights abuses and violations responsible. Unfortunately, this agreement has not been upheld, and these conditions have not been met. This increased conflict threatens the entire country and the region as a whole, which is already reeling from the previous war in Northern Ethiopia and the devastating conflict in Sudan. Ordinary civilians are bearing the brunt of this violence. We urge all parties in Ethiopia to immediately recommit to peace negotiations and uphold their responsibilities under the Pretoria Agreement. Ethiopia’s neighbors and the international community must work to defuse tensions and facilitate peace. We also urge the U.S. State Department to work with all parties to end the violence and hold those responsible accountable. The people of Ethiopia deserve peace and justice.

9 Americans have been killed by Israeli forces in the last 4 years. We need answers. Senate Republicans just blocked a resolution to get accountability for their families and the thousands of Palestinians facing genocide. Unconscionable.

Any time an industry comes to you and says, “Help us regulate ourselves,” you have to be skeptical. AI needs strong guardrails to protect the public—not rules written to make tech CEOs and billionaires even richer.
