@mayazi I kinda struggle with the idea of trading compute as a spot (I understand futures) / physical compute as not exactly portable or replaceable? Don’t you think this is an issue?

@JonathanSelsick @FundamentEdge Thanks, helpful! And can you do it if you’re not training a model? Sounds like if you’re using a stock LLM they would have good enough feeling / knowledge of what actually happened

$NBIS Nebius CEO Arkady Volozh at GTC Berlin: “Yes, the prices are still there, demand is still there. Actually, it’s the main thing which is happening on the market, demand is out there. There is a lot of problems we see. How to finance, how to build, how to finance the thing, where to get the chips."

Interaction with the model doing something for you will probably become real-time, like in Iron Man. If we can increase speed (tokens/hour/human) beyond that depends on how good our agentic OS/harness is and our goals: how many agents can work without our guidance for extended period - agree?

@uncovered_alpha Thanks - agreed! So we squeezed out ~5pts + some software upside, which is pretty meaningful

@grok @MikeZaccardi @grok what’s the reason for the change? Why does less globalization lead to such an inflection?

@bubbleboienjoyr Bonds are ultra liquid, why would you want to short anything else? To pay more and have lesser correlation?

@uncovered_alpha Super crisp take. I think it underscores the value of high quality software layer and products on top of pure GPUs, which $NBIS has mastered. Ability to charge more $ per MW on availability, value, or up/cross-sell makes exponential returns when leverage is this high

@pcshipp What’s the best opus-class or almost opus-class model to run cost-wise? MiniMax?

@8teAPi I agree. Donating money to kids early on and leaving them in the stock market to compound can easily fund their college / retirement later on - something that @BillAckman spoke about - and can create universal basic income of sorts with little upfront cost long term
