@ReidCoolsaet @Moh_Speed Yes, Canada is represented deeply in the race walking category: with Guillame LeBlanc, Inaki Gomez, Tim Barrett and Evan Dunfee all holding NA records, respectively

@ReidCoolsaet @Moh_Speed Yes Derek Drouin’s 2.40m is NA record in the HJ (tied with Charles Austin). I think it’s important to acknowledge that when Donovan Bailey ran 9.84sec, it was a WR.

Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president.

Part 1) Advice for athletes navigating the intricacies of Anti-Doping whereabouts submission: I was in the WADA testing pool, facilitated primarily by USADA and CCES, for 11 seasons (2004-2014), amassing 68 anti-doping tests (both urine, blood and annual blood passport profile)

Part 9) FYI, anti-doping agencies will never call you before they conduct an out of competition test, NEVER! Additionally, all results of anti-doping tests are submitted to your ADAMS profile, including missed tests.

Part 8) a mistake I saw fellow athletes make was submitting their one hour time slot during their typical training time, as training locations may change due to lack of availability or inclement weather. Also, they often relied on their agent/ coach to submit their whereabouts.

Part 7) I once submitted coordinates to a campsite I camped at. I was advised by a veteran, national team captain to always submit my one hour time slot as early in the morning as allowable (6AM), to ensure the likelihood that I was home.

Part 6) athletes must submit training location(s) and time, and an hour time slot which they guarantee they’ll be available for testing. If an athlete is traveling for a competition or vacation, they must submit travel details (flight number, airport code etc).

Part 5) athletes must submit information: address, time at said location, and if the location is an appropriate place to conduct an anti-doping testing protocol (place of worship, school, place of work are considered inappropriate).

Part 4) later, the ADAMS (anti-doping administration management system) was launched that allowed athletes to update their whereabouts real time via their website and now via an app. Athletes must submit quarterly whereabouts submissions (Dec, Mar, June, Sept).

Part 3) this process didn’t allow for real time adjustment, so any change in your schedule required an email to the anti-doping agency that’s affiliated with your sports federation. As a Canadian athlete, my anti-doping agency is CCES, Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport

Part 2) I first began submitting whereabouts quarterly before the online ADAMS system was launched, which required athletes to file a paper document with their predicted whereabouts, duration of time in that location, and type of location (school, work etc.
