IMO Part of the reason is the election Zero political will to act, particularly re farmers Recognizing Infectious diseases is at moment antithetical to getting elected Additionally, H5 is hitting up against a multi-agency issue - no one is responsible. WH should take lead

1/It's tempting to fixate on religious dogma at a time like this, but I'd encourage everyone to zoom out and look at the big picture. This is about more than dogma and theocracy, though it is about that too. There is a global war going on, and the Roe repeal is part of it.

I don’t think people are angry enough that bridges are collapsing, thousands are homeless, millions are hungry, a pandemic is running rampant, teachers and nurses are leaving their professions, and our government’s response is to endlessly increasing funding for police and war.
