Don't be nice, be kind. Kindness is telling someone what they need to hear even if it hurts them temporarily. Niceness is weakness disguised as being polite. If the world had more kind men rather than nice men, I guarantee the world would be a better place.

Male ego is great, but sometimes it's best to just forgive the past and attempt to reconcile with the one who may have wronged you. If they don't accept your attempt to fix everything, leave them be and move on. You're going to die one day, and none of it will matter anyway.

Feudalism in education is the answer. One massive castle that provides support to all the outlying villages. One center for training highly specialized personnel. When times get tough, a castle protects the Kingdom and its people.

I keep learning that the moment you start thinking someone should leave your team, it's too late. Get them out so that they can't do more damage. I guarantee when you hire someone else for their role, you'll be shocked to find you were right and acted too slowly.

Love your goals more than you love your suffering. At worst, you die. Then it doesn't matter. Your great-grandchildren will not even think about you. This life is nothing but vanity and grasping for the wind.
