Does anyone have any ideas as to why the same code would run slower on my M1 Max than @leptos_null's M1? Curiously, the 'weight' of the application in time profiles recorded on each device is identical (2 min), but the total runtime is 20–30s slower on the M1 Max… 🤨

I cycled over to Fremont Central Park to see the Hayward Fault running through a parking lot. My pictures didn’t show the movement very well- Ian has better pictures in his tweet below. It was an enjoyable day, as was the ride, as Fremont Blvd was almost entirely devoid of cars.

I'm working on some unit selection options in WorkoutSpot. [1] uses disabled actions as titles (concerned the units by themselves weren't conveying enough) [2] standard inline menus [3,4] hierarchal menus (top-level items are nouns, and don't indicate hierarchy) recommendations?

At one point people who can afford Teslas were provided a $7,500 tax credit. I think a $5,000 voucher for an e-bike is reasonable. We also need a massive investment in creating all ages, all abilities cycling infrastructure. Sometimes it's as "simple" as car free streets.

I cycled over 3.3K miles in 2020. A few hundred miles less than last year, but significantly more climbing. The first half of the year, I focused more on climbing, and I cycled up to Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve 6 times.
