I have a suspicion that @Nelnet @Nelnet_PS uses "processing" delays to sneak in a few additional occurred interest days. Has anyone else noticed this? Surely they can afford a payment processing system that is robust enough to processing these payments with zero/minimal delays 😶
@deccamuldowney @kchiccino @POTUS @Nelnet Please write this story! the old system Great Lakes Borrowing many of us used worked so well. #nelnetscam is clearly driven by profit and does not concern itself with fairness, accessibility, functional tools or accountability. Following you!
@Danoaamano22 so sorry this is happening to you!! I just went on to make my 1st payment w/ them, they said was due today. NOWHERE in their emails to me did they share: payments must be made before 4pm eastern time!! now they are saying payment is late even though IM PAYING onetime! #nelnetSCAM
Wtf?! How do I find out if @Nelnet is selling my information?! They were already sued for this and it’s still happening? This is not okay @usedgov @FAFSA is there another lawsuit? How do we start one?! #nelnet #studentloans
Students Against Nelnet (@nelnetscam) has apparently been suspended. 😯 I hope people will continue documenting #Nelnet's fraud and poor service. And I hope @nelnetscam will be back soon. #studentloans #CancelStudentDebt
@OhItsHeather @usedgov @Nelnet 💔went online to make my first payment. @Nelnet sent emails saying my payment was due today. I created an account, signed up for auto pay and then made a paint for this month (auto pay starts month later) #nelnet site said my payment was due by 4pm eastern time! email never said
Why Student Loan Company Nelnet Is Having a Meltdown thedailybeast.com/student-loan-c… via @thedailybeast @Nelnet didn't inform me my first payment was due by 4pm! on the due date. so when I tried to pay they said it was late!!!?????? This is a new system after years of break.INFORM PEOPLE
@Nelnet 1. The website isn't working. Can't log in, and it just says there's some error. 2. The loan is on auto-debit. How can a loan on auto-debit be late in payment? And why have turned off commenting on Facebook? Are we not allowed to talk to you? I'm not wasting time on the phone.
@Nelnet Your website never works. Nobody answers the phones or emails. How about u forgive or cancel everyone’s loans so we can go on with our lives.
@Nelnet How do you expect me, or lots of other people for that matter, to access our accounts and pay our loans?? I can't login. I've tried for 7 days now and can't login. Password is the same. Once I got "a valid email doesn't exist for this account." What are we to do....???
@Nelnet Today my first loan payment in a few years is due. My account was transferred to your system. I set up auto pay but must make a payment today for deadline. your system is telling me I can't make payment till tomorrow!!! causing a late fee. !!!!???😭🤯 #nelnet #studentloan
