Tech is setting up. VGT, XLK, IYW, FTEC, XSD, QTEC and ROM are all forming similar flags after strong moves. When an entire sector consolidates together, I pay attention. A synchronized breakout is tradable. Strength → consolidation → breakout.

@FelipeGuirao Well said. This is exactly it. It takes time to trust a trading system. A 50–60% win rate still means 40–50% of trades fail. Qullamaggie said his win rate was 25% in 2019. The hard part for a new trader is surviving the losses long enough to learn whether the system has an edge.

Growth leaders are strong: C3 is 3/3 and C20 is 16/20. But the broader market is still defensive: C3 is 1/3 and C20 is 11/20. Tech strength is real. A broad Risk-On signal isn’t here yet. I’m watching the divergence and trading some tech.

Overall market still looks sleepy, but tech is waking up. XLK is testing/starting to break its downtrend while C3 is 3/3 GO and C20 is 12/20. I’m watching for a clean hold above the trendline and follow-through. Tech may be trying to lead the next move.

$ERX is testing major resistance at $110 while general C3/C20 breadth is weak. I’ll trade only a confirmed close above $110.7 with XLE and energy participation confirming—and at reduced size. An intraday break followed by a close below $110 = failed breakout. No trade.

The market is attempting to turn—but an attempt is not confirmation. RSP and the A/D line are improving, suggesting broader participation. HYG is holding reasonably well, and volatility remains contained. Encouraging—but I want to see breadth continue rising.

Market is on hold—not broken, but not healthy enough for aggressive buying. SPY and RSP remain in trend, yet only 30% of leaders participate, while growth leadership is 0/3. Strength is rotating toward healthcare and energy. I am waiting until participation improves.

@NickDrendel In a truly strong market, DELL probably wouldn’t keep falling back into the base after breakout attempts. It may hold support, but it likely needs broader market momentum before it can really get moving.

Trend intact. Participation failed. Price is still near the highs, but underneath: C20 45% C3 0% All Leaders 30% RSI 51.8 Momentum OFF That’s not a market I want to chase. I want breadth to confirm price again before getting aggressive. Survival before prosperity. Not advice.

@FelipeGuirao Felipe — serious question on EOD breakout entries: How do you handle overnight gap-down risk? If you enter 2 minutes before the close and the stock gaps 5–10% below your stop the next morning, the stop obviously won’t protect you at the intended level.
