@Theholisticpsyc Hearing codependency isn’t DSM verified hence not very scientific? What is your commentary on this? Is it pop culture psychology?

You don't need dozens of friends to enjoy the fruits of friendship, says @DrMarisaGFranco. “The biggest return we get in friendship is going from zero to one friend in terms of its impact on our mental health and well-being." vox.com/23130613/fewer…

@DickinsonTrash Great thread and observations. I think tying their love to nature itself is to connect it to something organic and beautifully created. To me there is commentary there to church, God, Creation and ultimately Love.

@internetalena The shots of Emily and Sue in the finale -any chance someone can provide a director’s comnentary? The scenes were so beautiful, but I’m particularly interested in choices around color and meaning. It felt like a baptism, rebirth and renewal and colors had an ethereal look.

@euphoriclola I saw this as a baptism/renewal of their vow to love one another. It’s their wedding...

@LadyJenevia I’d love to hear thoughts about the series as a whole- whether exploring fame through 10 episodes made sense. Why add the affair to the season and how does that propel the story.

@supercorpcw @DickinsonTrash They are both seduced by what Sam offers/represents. It’s not a direct commentary on Emily and Sue’s love story.

@DickinsonTrash Well it’s consistent with fame’s seduction and Sam’s personification of fame.

@LadyJenevia @moopointspod Good point. Bing culture has created different expectations on how a story gets told through the episodes.

@AvenuSixteenth the "critics" are focused on one of two things (e.g. emisue) and aren't focused on anything else. Suffering from Dickinson Iritis.

@internetalena You guys have produced a sun. Don’t let people make you think it’s a Daisy. I always say it’s easy to criticize a book but hard to write one.
