This court has done an inconceivable amount of damage in such a short time. All because of 2016. We took way too much for granted. When it comes to a choice between two candidates, statements like "it's not enough to JUST be a Democrat!" are just incorrect. It actually IS enough.

The word SUBTLE comes from the Latin ‘sub tela’ (literally, ‘below the web’) but lost its B in French and was adopted into Middle English as ‘sotil.’ Later writers restored the B in print, but the pronunciation did not keep up with change so the B has remained silent ever since.

Etymologically, JEALOUS and ZEALOUS are identical: both come from a Greek root, ‘zelos’, that could be used to mean both jealousy and zeal. The two words were widely confused over time, and even until the 1800s JEALOUS could be used in a positive sense to mean ardent or vigilant.
