This semester I am teaching a new course on Agentic Systems, which explores the full stack of AI systems: from building and optimizing agent harnesses to serving and optimizing LLM serving infrastructure. Students learn by building, measuring, and optimizing real agents and systems, balancing capability, latency, and cost. Our goal is not just to teach today's AI technologies, but to prepare students to build tomorrow's. All lectures, readings, and assignments are publicly available at cs2680.seas.harvard.edu

One of my friends is a structural engineer by training and uses Revit daily. I noticed the licensing and costs keep a lot of people from even learning this kind of software, so I decided to build something.
Biggest lesson: no AI model is good at CAD. The model can propose; deterministic geometry and checks have to do the real work.
Trestle is a browser-based BIM tool. You describe a change in plain English, review the plan, approve it, and the model verifies its own work. It's still a work in progress, and only my friend uses it until I get it solid enough to open source.
Funny how quickly the excitement around these topics has shifted.
My solo-paper got accepted into NeurIPS 2026 AgenticLS Workshop for a poster presentation! The paper finds that with a small protein-discovery budget, random audits don’t help, and a simple equal-weight model ensemble works better than adaptive switching. Next up, Sydney!
