KPC SHARES AND THE MYSTERY INVESTOR: The other week, I was suspended from Parliament for stating the obvious. That the Kenya Pipeline IPO was a failure, subscription being below 3% at the last day of the IPO. And that President William Ruto called the CEOs of NSSF, PSSF, Unclaimed Assets, CPF, and others to risk Pensioners savings against professional advise. These are the facts: 1. The President called the CEOs to buy KPC shares against the advice from their own professionals. They had to forge minutes of Board meetings and backdate them. All of them are liable. 2. He again called them last week instructing them to sell the shares to a “Private Investor”. 3. They have cumulatively sold 4.5 Billion shares netting approximately Ksh 42Bn. NSSF is yet to exit fully. 4. The exit price was between Ksh 9.02 to Ksh 9.36. The share were sold cum dividend so that the “Private Investor” maximizes benefits. 5. Accounting for brokerage commission that is usually around 1.5%, the entities sold shares at a loss. The loss widens if you account for time value for money. Even fixing the money in the bank could have earned pensioners much more. 6. The so called Private investor is a company that President William Ruto has private interests in. He is among the “Private Foreign Investors”. In other words he took a soft loan from your pensions, you made a loss but he is making money from it. 7. The Investment Bank that handled the transaction is also owned by him. A newly licensed Investment Bank. 8. The transaction is part of fulfilling the conditions Precedent of the Lamu Refinery. The transaction is closely related to the refinery. 9. More KPC shares will be transferred from the Public entities to the so called Private investors. 10. This completes William Ruto’s personal interests in Oil from Upstream (where he is firmly involved in Turkana oil), Mid Stream (As a shareholder of the Refinery) and Downstream (G - G and other oil Marketers). The details of the Investment agreement between Dangote East Africa Petroleum Refinery and Kenya would shock everyone. 1. Why is the shareholders register a secret - Because the minority shareholders are led by the President of Kenya. 2. Why is the Investment agreement a secret - because the content is pure abdication of duty and patronage. Among the conditions is that Kenya willl NOT import any products made by the refinery even when the prices are double or triple the market price. We are African and Africa is our Business..

The High Court has spoken. Justice Magare has ruled that when a marriage dies, the dowry must come back. Not to the in-laws. To you. And the wife cannot say, "But I never took anything, it was dad who ate the goats." The judge said it does not matter who ate them. She returns the dowry, then goes to sue her own father. She even has two years to do it. The judge was very practical. And alimony? The judge said with Article 45 of the Constitution, men and women are equal, so alimony is no longer a reality in Kenya. Equality has finally arrived.

Just when you think everything on social media is scripted, you come across the story of Eunice Wambui, widow of the late minister JJ Kamotho. She has been unwell and using a wheelchair for some time. Now, according to reports, some of her own children want her out of her Kitisuru home, while she fights court cases over her late husband’s estate. Yaani, the woman is battling illness, succession cases and the possibility of eviction from her own home, with her children on the other side. How does a family get to this point? Our generation had better be careful. We might spend our whole lives building homes for our children, only for these spoilt Gen Z kids to arrive with lawyers and tell us we’re taking up too much space. 😭

Karen Nyamu’s feathers plucked, forcing her to fly away with naked wings, as she was shouted down during her affirmation speech at Natalie Githinji’s Endometriosis Warriors event at KICC. She quickly learnt that those “haters” online who torment her that she cannot sew two sentences together successfully are very much available offline too. Our Nominated Senator, ya ulimwengu yatapita, lakini neno litasimama!

These are truly the signs of the end times. Life has become so difficult that even the side chick has developed a sense of entitlement. You tell her, “Baby, it’s time for me to go home to my wife and children.” She explodes: “I am not here to be used whenever you are lonely. Today, I’m coming with you to see your wife and children!” At that moment, you realise you didn’t have a side chick. You had accidentally recruited an opposition leader. Now she wants recognition, access, family membership and possibly a seat at the dining table. And somewhere in the house, your innocent wife is peacefully minding her business, completely unaware that a video is already travelling through WhatsApp from someone who knows you. The end times are truly here. Even mpango wa kando now wants to attend the family meeting.

If I invite you to my house, understand one thing: the invitation is mine. The manners should be yours. Never arrive empty-handed. If you’re educated, bring flowers, dessert or a bottle of wine. Nothing expensive. Just evidence that your education went beyond passing exams. If you’re a villager, bring nduma, sugarcane, bananas or milk from your cow. Surely, something in your homestead must be productive. I can comfortably feed you. That was never the issue. The gesture shows appreciation, consideration and good breeding. Don’t arrive with two swinging arms and an appetite as though you’ve been summoned for relief food. I hope I’m clear!

A court has ordered a separated couple to share equally the cost of raising their three children, rejecting a bid to make the father shoulder the financial burden alone. Bungoma Senior Resident Magistrate T.O. Omono said both parents have a responsibility to provide for their children, especially where their incomes are almost equal. The magistrate ordered the couple, DA and her estranged husband AW, to equally meet the children’s upkeep and general maintenance costs. Read more: nation.africa/kenya/news/cou…

For days now, I’ve been seeing Terry Muchiri’s posts about her daughter allegedly being kicked out of Precious Blood Riruta over remedial fees. Every time I read them, I ask myself: how are we allowing this? A Form Four student now being homeschooled, with her mother alleging she was humiliated in class for what SHE posted? What exactly did the child do? The @LabourSPKE @EduMinKenya must urgently investigate and tell us what happened. If these allegations are true, those responsible must face consequences. We cannot just sympathize with Terry and scroll past. Every Kenyan of goodwill should demand answers and keep demanding until action is taken. A child’s education cannot depend on her parents keeping quiet.

@KenyaPower_Care Hello. Power has gone off for 45 minutes. Account no. 23346968. Kindly assist

Hello Nyakundi, Please hide my identity. I am a staff member at Artcaffé, and we are really suffering under the current management conditions at the branch. First, last week our PHs, off days, and leave days were deducted simply because of the matatu strike, something that was completely beyond our control as employees. It is unfair for management to punish staff for a nationwide transport crisis that affected everyone. Secondly, the transport situation for staff working late shifts is becoming dangerous. Imagine the staff van arriving at the branch around 1:40 AM, then dropping employees along the highway at around 2 AM and leaving everyone to figure out how to get home safely on their own. This is not secure at all, especially for staff members going home at such hours. The worst issue is the “FUNGA FUNGUA” shifts. Right now it is around 3 AM and I have just come from the PM shift, yet I am expected to wake up again at 4 AM to prepare and report back to work. We barely get any sleep. You enter the next shift already exhausted and sleepy, which is extremely risky especially in a busy restaurant environment where mistakes and accidents can easily happen because of fatigue. We are mentally and physically drained. Some of us cannot even sleep properly because by the time you reach home, it is already time to prepare for the next shift again. This is not healthy and it is affecting staff wellbeing badly. Another major issue is staff meals. There is no proper breakfast and sometimes no lunch at all, yet employees are expected to work long exhausting hours. Nobody seems concerned about staff welfare anymore. Please let this reach HR because workers are really suffering. We are asking management to listen to staff concerns and improve these working conditions before things get worse.

Theres two things happening here,Ombachi and Bien wanatafuta unga. Which is very valid, family must eat. But the deeper underlying issue here,is this is not just about pictures. This isnt just a regular dinner. These two guys,Because of their deep cohesion in the society, representing both generations, they are being used as a signature to signify that indeed there is unity between France and Kenya and we as kenyans have embraced it. They knew this and still went. But we all know that deep down the french are not here for business. They are not here to “invest”. They are here to Use and take. Its all they do. Thats why Traore kicked them out when he took power. Its not a matter of Ombachi and Bien are good people, its a matter of they have been used as a watermark in the documents that binds this country into tighter shackles of colonization and exploitation. As the wiseman once said,Hunger will once again make a man go back to beg for food where his siblings were poisoned.

A teacher from Kianguru Primary School has gone viral after the Milimani Small Claims Court ordered her to pay her boyfriend Ksh 23,750 for committing the highest crime in modern dating,, Eating fare eat Tau Tau. She pulled the kind of disappearing act that even CDF money would clap for her. It all started when the man blinded by love, loneliness & July cold sent Mwalimu Ksh 3,000 for a taxi so she could attend his birthday party & later gift him the sacred fruits of fulumbanya that makes a man speak in tongues & see the gates of heaven opening slowly. Mwalimu after receiving the money, she disappeared like Kasongo's promises. She went offline so violently that even the pokot bandits looked like jokers. Omwami after waiting the whole night smelling muyusuff cologne & reheating pilau after every 30 minutes, realized he had been played by a professional ashawo! He marched to the Small Claims Court carrying evidence kwa kalataas like an ICC prosecutor: M-Pesa statements, WhatsApp chats, Screenshots, Blue ticks & Voice notes where Madam was saying “ndio nimetoka babe” yet she was still in her house eating makhalange & watching kumkumbagya. The court read through the chats & concluded that Madam had committed emotional terrorism. They ordered her to refund the Ksh 3,000, pay Ksh 750 interest for wasting the man’s battery & bundles, and an additional Ksh 20,000 for the emotional damage of expecting bedroom fireworks and receiving blackout. To cap it all, Madam is currently detained at the government owned Airbnb, eating undercooked maize with two beans on the side to boost her immune system with limited proteins as her family scrambled to raise the money. This should serve as a lesson to all the daughters of Agrippina who have normalized the habit of eating our money without giving us access to the kilgoris holy garden where walimwengu harvest ripped & over ripped sacred fruits of fulumbanya. Kama kawa sisi walala hoii hatuna maoni, Letu Jicho tu. 👀
