I know people went to the hospital at the Trump rally but people also go to the hospital at football games. Mind blowing that people and the news aren’t more outraged about the poor people freezing at football games...oh yea it’s bc they don’t like Trump and they like football 🙄

I find it ridiculous that news outlets & people r so focused on the fact that people at the Trump rally had to stand in the cold for a long time. I’m pretty sure it was their choice to go the the Trump rally & don’t thousands choose to go to football games in the freezing cold?

Districts, Its important to remember teachers have NO control over whether or not students will or can attend chats or the work they complete at home. & now isn’t the time to overwhelm parents & students about attending or completing work. Especially if it’s not going to count.

Teachers plates can take no more. They currently have five jobs. Teacher, curriculum developer, IT for students, therapist for parents struggling, & office worker. All while trying to survive the pandemic w/ their family too. Let’s all give teachers grace & support right now.

School districts, for the most part, let’s remember that this isn’t homeschooling, or online school, this is making the best of a bad situation in the middle of a crisis. That should be what drives decisions.
