Don't believe @directferries when they say they'll get back to an online query - it's been 2 weeks so far with nothing. Don't believe them when they tell you wait time is 11 minutes on the phone either. I've tried several times now and get cut off after an hour each time. 😡

I'm a former Deputy Director of Government communications and ran the Department of Health press office during the swine flu pandemic. Some thoughts on daily press conferences and criticism the Government wasn't getting its comms right. /1
