Today is Ted Danson’s birthday.
I don’t wanna be a bother but could someone do the heimlich?
in 1967 by Rocco Morabito, this photo called “The Kiss of Life” shows a utility worker named J.D. Thompson giving mouth-to-mouth to co-worker Randall G. Champion after he went unconscious following contact with a high voltage line. They had been performing routine maintenance when Champion brushed one of the low voltage lines at the very top of the utility pole. His safety harness prevented a fall, and Thompson, who had been ascending below him, quickly reached him and performed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. He was unable to perform CPR given the circumstances, but continued breathing into Champion’s lungs until he felt a slight pulse, then unbuckled his harness and descended with him on his shoulder. Thompson and another worker administered CPR on the ground, and Champion was moderately revived by the time paramedics arrived, eventually making a full recovery. What’s even more incredible is Champion not only survived this thanks to Thompson, but he lived an extra 35 years. He died in 2002 at 64 years old. Thompson is still alive today
In 2014, a 15-year-old Pakistani schoolboy named Aitzaz Hasan noticed a stranger wearing a suicide vest entering his school. Despite being urged by his friends to run away, Aitzaz decided to confront the bomber. He grabbed the terrorist, and that's when the explosive vest detonated. Killing Aitzaz instantly. His actions prevented the terrorist from entering the school and killing hundreds of students. Following his death, his father said, "My son made his mother cry but saved hundreds of mothers from crying for their children."
Munich's Municipal Law Library; considered as one of most beautiful libraries in the world. This small 'German Literary Treasure', located within the city’s Neues Rathaus (New Town Hall), Munich, Germany. which was built between 1867-1908 CE, by Georg von Hauberrisser in a Gothic Revival architecture style, which is supposed to resemble a bright warm forest. It had rich wood levels, ivy lamps, and vine-covered staircases. There was originally a painted mural ceiling but it was damaged during WWII and the reconstruction left it white. All details are spectacular, which caught attention of filmmakers and it was featured in films such as “Cabaret” starring Liza Minelli. #archaeohistories
Do you ever feel that older cities are just more interesting than new ones? Well, it isn't just because they're old. It's because of something called "vernacular architecture"...

Greta Thunberg taking down Andrew Tate was almost as good as Andrew Tate taking himself down in that pathetic clapback attempt...which apparently revealed he was in the country, leading to his arrest by Romanian authorities for human trafficking. What a story.
