YC sends us on random founder dinners every week. It’s cool, because you get to 1) meet random batchmates 2) see a new part of SF 3) go outside lol In this case, I was set next to a guy building foundational models for computer use 🦄

the most overlooked tangible benefit of YC? software deals. yc companies get between 500k - 800k in free credits from Open AI, Google, Aws, Azure, Clerk, Neon, Slack etc. etc. if you have customers (big if !), this is huge.

Contrary to my expectations, YC itself is pretty chill. The real pressure comes from within, not from partners, peers and others here in the program. If anything, YC relieved some of the pressure because it feels like a checkpoint in my life. 10/10 recommend.
