It takes up to 72 hours for food to move from your mouth to the rectum. It takes up to 6 - 8 hours for food to be emptied from your stomach to the ileum. Don't fill your gut with unnecessary food. Give it time to digest & absorb food. Nature is NOT stupid. #BetterTogether

Fats is not the reason people get fat. Fats elicit very low insulin response. Fat is more important than carbs in a grand scheme of things because apart from giving more energy, fats also helps in absorption of Vit A,D,E,K very necessary for optimal health. I hope this helps.

High carbs and low fat diet. Carbs convert to fat. Carbs stimulate high insulin response. This compound to unnecessary weight gain, possible insulin resistance and metabolic issues. Carbs should be low and paired with protein or fats.

Portion control is not eating more than 2 times a day. Don't be deceived with the body-type fables. There is a rise in ulcer cases, leaky gut, gastritis, constipation, pile, hemorrhoids, etc All these stem from inflammation of the guts. Caused by excessive eating.

What to do: Start fasting at least 18 to 20 hours daily to improve insulin sensitivity. Avoid foods that raises your sugar levels. E.g. Refined carbs, carbonated drinks, sugary fruits, fruit juice, Wheat/ derivatives and sugar. Stop eating every packaged food you come across.
