Grok Bot shipped three things in about a day this week: 1. Phone apps: Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and more on iOS and Android 2. 1Password: approve which logins to share and the bot signs in 3. Saved logins, cards and contact info, added once Together that's the jump from a bot that drafts things to a bot that finishes them: signs in, books, pays, puts it in the calendar. The approval step on each one matters most. It's what lets you hand a bot more work without losing sleep.

@chrisgr089 @GrokBotRadar Fair point, an unsupported MCP auth method blocks it. Which software is it, and what auth does it use? Sometimes a small connector or a scheduled data sync gets around it, and I can take a look.

Cursor agents can now control your computer. Sounds like a gimmick until you see what it's for: the agent builds a feature, opens the iOS Simulator, clicks through it and checks it actually works. For a freelancer that's the expensive part of every job. Writing code was already fast. Testing it by hand before the client sees it was not. Write, run, check in one loop. Closest thing yet to handing off a whole ticket.

@solo0031 @elonmusk @shaunmmaguire Write the secretary's job description before picking the tool: who gets through to you, who leaves a message, what goes in the summary. Also check whether your current number can forward calls at all. That decides most of the setup.

Best rule for my bot team: one bot, one job. The invoice bot never sees my inbox. The inbox bot never touches my calendar. When something breaks, I know exactly where to look.
