$NVDA Jensen Huang: Surplus of memory supply is unlikely by 2029. The CNBC question referenced a Korean newspaper opinion on $KOSPI / Samsung / SK Hynix that predicted "new supply will leave the memory sector a red ocean in 2029." "One of the things that's really great about memory is that you can always use more of it", Jensen said, citing LPDDR usage in DCs. And responded "I don't think so" in terms of possibilities of oversupply in 2029. Just my personal opinion, Nvidia probably has the most visibility in the entire industry. Especially around supply procurement and emerging capacity, given they're the ones leading all the architectural shifts. On durability, you have Samsung already allocated majority of capacity into 2031 from SED and hyperscalers like $GOOGL are already reportedly securing memory LTAs into 2035 from KeyBanc. Yet there's endless "it's all over" sentiment on memory now. I'd probably trust Jensen's opinion here.

Woooow... $LITE CEO went out on Bloomberg today and stated: Lumentum is "effectively sold out through nearly 2029". From our perspective, "Completely Sold Out, there's no end in sight". With demand visibility from hyperscalers that carries them out into 2030, 2031. The implications of these statements are enormous for photonics and remaining laser suppliers with capacity coming online like $SIVE, Sumitomo Electric, to $AAOI. What a crazy bottleneck that's unfolding.

BREAKING: American Airlines, United Airlines and Southwest Airlines are now cancelling certain flights, scaling back flight capacity and adjusting schedules due to the sharp surge in fuel costs, with American Airlines saying the latest jump in fuel prices alone is adding about $1 billion to its fourth-quarter costs, per Reuters. Southwest has already cut its planned 2026 capacity growth roughly in half and could trim further, with its CFO saying that if fuel is "higher for longer," cutting capacity is the "natural response." United said yesterday it will cancel December flights and could cut into the first quarter and 2027, with its CFO saying "we are not flying to maximize market share." US jet fuel is now at $4.70 a gallon, up 108% since the war began.
