@CollinRugg ....by then, several months had passed. By their methods, however, I now owed them money, so they charged me interest on the "underpayment", even though I originally paid the amount they incorrectly returned. For me, it was less than $100 so I just paid it to be done.

@CollinRugg This happened to me on a much smaller scale. The IRS (incorrectly) amended my return, saying I owed considerably less than I did. They direct deposited a refund so I had the money. After several meetings, we got the issue resolved, but.....

@HyVee - When I clip a digital coupon, why would I then have to "Add it to my cart" when Im shopping in-store. I clip the coupon and shouldn't it apply?Customer service suggested otherwise, said she could return everything and check me out again. Not worth my time at that point.

@Leabonics Watching our folks age can be tough. I hope he gets the support he needs and that it's otherwise an easy transition for him. Godspeed and good luck.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom And yes, there is holding on every play. When its maintained within the frame of the body, the hands don't reach and it doesnt impedes a defender, it seldom gets called. But when the defender turns and the offensive player fails to release it, it usually does.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom You draw the line because you're tired of arguing an indefensible position. The Approved Ruling you cite refers to blocks in the back, not holding. Holding is expressly addressed in 3.b, yet you rely on some undefined interpretation of illegal to determine legality.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom The rest of your argument hinges on some same direction / change of direction interpretation which is not addressed by rule. Tuck your tail, take your 'L' and be grateful you learned something today.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom Article 3.a 2 states "The hand(s) shall be open with the palm(s) facing the frame of the opponent or closed or cupped with the palms not facing the opponent." Grabbing the jersey is not possible if the hands are closed or cupped away from the defender. Not legal is illegal.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom Here's a screenshot that isn't misleading: "The hand(s) and arm(s) shall not be used to grasp, pull, hook, clamp or encircle in any way that illegally impedes or illegally obstructs an opponent." - NCAA Rule Book, Rule 9, Article 3.b.

@Attorney_CPA @RP_Tiger @PowerMizzoucom You're describing textbook holding, counselor. Inside the frame or not, when the defensive player turns to engage the ball carrier, it is incumbent on the blocker to release. That's how it's called behind the LOS; it's also applicable downfield. Vandy got away with one.

@PowerMizzoucom OK, I don't watch many podcasts, so this may be old news, but Cody's mustache is glorious. And you've also spent too much time together because his phrasing, pauses, cadence, inflections, etc. sound a lot like a younger Gabe....
