Today I got to test ride and evaluate shared mobility products seeking permits in Cleveland. Literally got to do loops inside Public Auditorium and around the Mall. City Hall can be a grind but days like today make it fun.

Work underway at Lake Pool Park on W. 85. This n’hood park actually has a pool but little else despite many kids/families nearby. $600k+ = new playground, paths, gazebo, new entrance & 27 trees. I helped w/ this project before joining City Hall. Great to see the progress.
Very sad and could’ve been prevented. Keeping my fingers crossed they move into the lovely Toast space. “Revitalization” of our neighborhoods means nothing if we can’t keep some of the good stuff.
Sad to bid farewell to Pearl Street Wine Market & Café in Ohio City. Legendary chef-owner Karen Small has nurtured this spot since '99, building culinary gems. Today's the last day due to rent hikes. Wishing Karen & team the best. Thanks for enriching the Cleveland dining scene!

@bullcity76 I remember trying to convince Orange, Moreland Hills, Pepperpike, and Woodmere to merge fire service. Didn’t happen. I don’t think you need to convince Clevelanders of the benefit of regionalization so much as the 58 suburban municipalities in Cuyahoga.
