The key to the $BBBY offering looks like around $1.20 per share for 900M shares for the full $1B, all in. Company will have 1.16B shares outstanding, 9x the current amount.

$TSLA reminds me of EMC back from the Nasdaq bubble. EMC was the last stock to break; it took recession-induced fundamental deterioration. Stock halved in Q1 of 2001…it had one more solid bounce then never came back.
