@RoKhanna As usual, hard to tell if you are incredibly stupid, or massively manipulative. Ro, do you find this post to be more related to your deep lack of knowledge or brain function, or just shilling for your terrorist buddies?
@NYTimesPR@IsraelMFA Complete lies!!! You are the most biased lying liars in history. And … for no apparent reason! Who’s paying for you to lie ??? How about releasing some investigative work on that one!
@RoKhanna 3 days ago: "I was detained at gunpoint by the IDF and was imprisoned because of my skin color".
@RoKhanna today now that the footage is out: "the IDF could have been more polite when delaying me for a few minutes, but I don't want to exaggerate this".
Something I missed when I first watched the video two days ago: they added English subtitles for everything except the very last part, where a member of the local security team says:
“The police have already come across you here, right, buddy? And what did they tell you? That you’re not allowed to be here, right? It’s a closed military zone. Right? You just don’t give a fuck about anyone, do you?”
Funny how that’s precisely the segment they chose not to translate into English.
Just an innocent coincidence, I’m sure.
The most remarkable thing about this footage is that it completely debunks the whole "detainment" narrative.
His body camera shows that nobody was "detained" - they were simply prevented from entering a closed military area, which he had previously been warned he could not

Imagine how many of the antizionist bigots who hate Israel have literally no idea these attacks even occurred, nor thought for a second what it’s like to live under this insanity, and yet feel entirely confident espousing ignorant takes devoid of reality.
Brad Lander is a sad example of a Jew who hopes joining his oppressors and enemies will save him. There were many such Jews in the towns and kibbutzim near Gaza. They were leftists who believed in peace and who marched against Netanyahu. They were the first targets on October 7.
Since you named me, I want to respond directly. Claire, you have a habit of treating “AIPAC” as a magic word that explains away every political setback.
Lost support? AIPAC. Criticism? AIPAC. Voters disagree? AIPAC.
You just suggested that undisclosed funding behind Real Fight NYC was tied to “pro-Israel” interests because I donated to your opponent. It wasn't. The PAC was funded by labor unions, a correction even Ryan Grim felt compelled to make.
That is the problem with conspiracy-minded politics. The conclusion comes first, the evidence comes later, and reality is expected to fit the narrative rather than the other way around. People who pride themselves on fighting prejudice should be especially careful about prejudging others.
This isn't a politics of substance or depth. It isn't even original. It is the same shallow conspiracy politics used by people across the political spectrum when they lack facts, evidence, or a more convincing argument.
Frankly, it’s disappointing to see. Democrats spent years criticizing Donald Trump for weaponizing conspiracy theories whenever reality did not go his way. We should not be adopting the same playbook simply because it is politically convenient. Conspiracy thinking is corrosive whether it comes from the right or the left.
Not every Jewish organization is AIPAC. Not every donor is part of a coordinated plot. And not every candidate who struggles politically is the victim of some grand scheme. Yet Claire, you seem determined to flatten every disagreement into the same simplistic story.
The irony is that people who claim to oppose exclusion often seem perfectly comfortable treating Jewish participation in politics as uniquely suspect when it becomes politically convenient. You can disagree with Israel. You can criticize AIPAC. What you cannot do is suggest that Jewish donors, Jewish organizations, or people who hold different views should somehow be excluded from the democratic process.
The problem may be that governing and politics are more complicated than you want them to be. Serious issues require serious analysis. They require the ability to distinguish between different organizations, different motivations, and different people. Not everything fits neatly into a slogan.
I am proud to have supported Democratic candidates across America, and I will continue doing so. No amount of name-calling, conspiracy theories, or attempts to delegitimize my participation in the political process will change that.
As for this race, I am happy to support your opponent because I believe he would bring the judgment, seriousness, and effectiveness that New Yorkers deserve from their representative in Congress. It is really that simple. No conspiracy required.
As Judge Street Journal reported over the weekend, there are at least six major pro-Israel donors in Reynoso's filing.
For example: hedge fund manager John Petry gave $48k to local AIPAC affiliate "Solidarity PAC" last cycle. He maxed out to Reynoso.

For those who haven't been following -- and nobody's been following because nobody cares, least of all the journalists' NGOs -- Hamas and Islamic Jihad have been steadily releasing death notifications for one "journalist" after another, listing them invariably as fighters and commanders in the organizations' ranks.
It's dozens now. Maybe more.
But the "Israel targets journalists" meme is forever. The facts will never penetrate the thick fog of ideological confirmation bias that has overtaken the NGO and activism world and its journalistic arms in the mainstream media.
Literally no one cares about whether journalists were actually hunted down by Israel, as it was depicted by @pressfreedom and others, or whether Hamas used fake "journalist" claims to protect combatant commanders, counting on a global NGO and media ecosystem it knew was looking to confirm its biases.
No one will examine these falsehoods or report on them in a visible way because no one cares about the wellbeing of the real journalists, who are desperately endangered when combatant commanders are labeled "journalists" -- and even the world's major journalist advocacy groups decide to play along.
🧵FAKE Gaza Journalist Alert: Helmi Al-Faqawi is listed by @pressfreedom as a journalist killed by the IDF at a "reporter's tent" at Nasser Hospital. But PIJ confirmed he was a commander—he used the hospital as a base. The 14th fake journalist outed in the last few weeks. 1/
The United Teachers Los Angeles’ House of Representatives voted Wednesday night to expel Jewish teacher and antisemitism watchdog Amy Leserman after members denounced her by name, declared Zionism “racism,” and accused her of targeting union activists, according to Leserman, who said she sat silently through the online meeting and was given no charges, hearing, or trial.
The episode of antizionist purging marks an alarming escalation in anti-Jewish bigotry inside one of America’s most powerful teachers unions.

This is a thread on the state of American Jewry in light of unabetted growth in American antisemitism on the right and left. What's going right, what's going wrong, and some options in front of us.
Zohran Mamdani just endorsed Aber Kawas - a woman who described a convicted Al Qaeda financier as an “imprisoned hero” and an Algerian man convicted of plotting to bomb New York City synagogues as her “brother.’’
Back in January I found Aber Kawas’s old Tumblr account.
I found these posts defending convicted Al Qaeda financier Fahad Hashmi and synagogue bomb plotter Ahmad Farhani.
Hashmi pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to provide material support to al-Qaeda in Federal District Court in Manhattan.
He was asked by Judge Loretta A. Preska whether he was pleading "because you are in fact guilty" to which Hashmi replied, "Alhamdulillah, yes.’’
Kawas described Hashmi as an “imprisoned hero.”
She wrote of Hashmi and the Holy Land 5: “Each day they are locked up is a day that our hearts cannot be at ease. We cannot rest until each and everyone is free. Their lives are a source of inspiration to us for they are living martyrs, teaching us lessons in patience, sacrifice, and integrity.’’
Ahmad Farhani meanwhile was sentenced to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to plotting to blow up a synagogue in Manhattan.
He told the court: “I intended to create chaos and send a message of intimidation and coercion to the Jewish population of New York City, warning them to stop mistreating Muslims.”
Kawas wrote of Farhani as a “brother … whose family I know.’’
She wrote: “He saw nowhere out but death. This is the state our people are in.”
Last week I was sent an image of a pro-Palestine stall at Cambridge Market Square.
Not angry students. Not masked radicals. Rather elderly white women encouraging strangers to boycott Israel.
So yesterday I went to Cambridge to hear what they were selling.

The Arab Word is Watching a Different War:
Three reasons why it has been difficult to understand the Arab position:
The first is the Arab relationship with Iran. From the vantage point of Brussels or London, Iran presents itself as a resistance movement with a grievance against American hegemony and Israeli occupation, and this presentation maps comfortably onto familiar Western anticolonial frameworks.
What it does not map onto is the lived experience of Arab populations in Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain, Syria, and across the Gulf. In those countries, Iran's presence meant Hezbollah holding the Lebanese state hostage to Tehran's decisions, thirty-five armed factions in Iraq drawing salaries from Iranian funds channeled through the Iraqi national treasury, and Houthi commanders answering to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps while firing on Arab civilians from Yemeni soil. Freedom is not the word any serious Arab observer would use for what Iran brought.
Indeed, the Arab world's quarrel with Iran runs far deeper than American bases or Israeli airstrikes. What drives it is the systematic subversion of Arab sovereignty by a foreign power that uses the language of Islamic solidarity as cover for an imperial project conducted through proxies.
The second dimension is the proxy question itself, where Western analysis fails most comprehensively. Iran goes far beyond supporting armed groups. Parallel state structures get built inside Arab countries, financial systems get captured, and political figures get installed who owe their existence and survival entirely to Tehran.
The Iranians who have administered this project understand it as the export of a revolution, but what Arab populations have experienced is closer to a colonial occupation conducted through intermediaries, and as of now, they’re not mourning the Islamic Republic.
When Westerners treat these proxy networks as instruments of legitimate resistance rather than as mechanisms of subjugation, they endorse an imperial project while believing themselves to be opposing one, and as a matter of fact, make themselves the legitimizing force behind Iran’s war against the Arab world.
The third dimension is the most counterintuitive for a Western audience, and it is the one most consequential for how the current war is understood and misunderstood. For Arab nationalists, including secular nationalists and even those with deep reservations about Israeli policy, Iran represents a greater and more immediate threat than Israel does.
This is a position that Western media are structurally ill-equipped to render intelligible, because Western discourse on the Middle East has been organized for decades around the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as the primary axis of regional injustice.
The result is that when Western governments and Western publics take strong positions against Israel’s actions against Iran’s operations, they believe themselves to be standing with the Arab world. In reality, they are advancing a position that the Arab world does not share and has not asked for, while ignoring the threat that Arab governments and Arab populations actually live with.
The rhetorical use of Israel as a perpetual alibi for Iranian aggression has been one of the Islamic Republic’s most durable tools, and Western opinion has served as the unwitting amplifier of that tool across the entire duration of the Islamic Republic’s existence.

Democrats have provided reflexive & unconditional support to Netanyahu & Israeli governments, even as they undermined the values we claimed to stand for.
It's time to end taxpayer-funded support & condition arms sales to end the occupation & salvage a 2-state solution.
Two critical truths from a Palestinian voice:
1. There is no genocide in Gaza and never was. It is a grotesque lie.
2. Gazans opened a restaurant called Nova named after a music festival where Gazans murdered, raped and kidnapped hundreds of Israelis, Americans, Europeans and others.
The death cult at the core of Palestinian nationalism remains alive and well.
There can be no compromise with an ideology built on murder, glorification of terror, and the destruction of Israel.

I truly love how the Mamdani Nakba video backfired and uncovered every lie possible.
It accidentally highlighted everything “Palestinians” are trying to hide:
- Stolen history - Jewish travel poster
- Fake claim to the land - Bosnian origin
- Voluntary move to a town nearby without persecution or violence
- Full ability to visit Israel thanks to American/English passports
- Engineered narrative - no one used the word Zionists back then
- The survivor lie - Nakba had a 99% survival rate. To compare, the Holocaust had a 30% survival rate.
Brilliantly backfired.
