BREAKING: Blow to Kenyans and a Win for William Ruto as MPs pass a bill that stops the live streaming of the 2027 Presidential Elections results.

DANGOTE, PRESIDENT WILLIAM RUTO AND THE KENYA PIPELINE TAKEOVER PLAN: By now and through earlier posts on this page, it must be clear that President William Ruto and Dangote are working together in business. Below is the plan for the take over of KPC and how it is unfolding; 1. The President last week instructed the CEOs of public institutions that held KPC shares to sell them to a “Private Investor”. That is how a company associated with Dangote East African Petroleum Refinery ended up buying 24.76% from NSSF, PSSF, PCF and others at a LOSS. Pensioners lost money for President William Ruto to make money. 2. The end plan is to take over the majority shares in KPC. Their target is 51 % on a bad day and 75 % if everyone plays ball. 3. NSSF and other Public Institutions will be forced to sell the remaining stakes to the same “Private Investor”. 4. The next phase of the take over will be through a RIGHTS ISSUE. The assurance Dangote has been given is that President Ruto will instruct Kenya Pipeline to open a share sale of KPC shares through a Rights issue. All this was part of the Conditions Precedent. They are also exploring Private Placement but would raise Market related questions and judicial actions. 5. The Government of Kenya will decline to take the rights due to “unavailability of Funds”. The 35% allocation of the Rights to GoK will be taken over by Dangote where the President also has vested personal interests. NSSF which still has a stake will also decline if they will not have sold. There are plans to convince President Museveni and Uganda not to take up the rights. 6. If President Museveni refuses to play ball, the Dangote/William Ruto consortium will end up with between 51% to 58% of Kenya Pipeline. If he does, their target is approximately 75% of KPC. 7. This will lead to the dilution of Government owned stake in KPC at slightly below 20%. NSSF will also be diluted if they will not have sold the remaining stake. Museveni could play hard and snap one rights to avoid dilution of the Uganda stake. 8. These plans are to start in earnest. The shareholding register of Dangote East Africa Petroleum Refinery must be made public. The Investment Agreement will expose the incompetence of these his regime in negotiating for Kenyans. The problem here is that the same team that should be looking at the welfare of Kenyans as elected leaders of Government are also on the other side of the table as Shareholders. That’s why the government is adamantly refusing to share it with Kenyans. It is just crap at best and no Kenyan would stand the terms. We are African and Africa is our Business..

Is is one year (365 days) since Aluo Raila Amolo Odinga died. He was 80, if the published records are accurate. Rayila’s father, Jaramogi Ajuma Oginga Odinga, died in 1994 at 82, according to published official records. The life expectancy in Kenya is between 64 to 68 years. In other words, both Raila and Jaramogi lived about 20 years longer than the average Kenyan. Yet, Siaya Governor @orengo_james, claims that both Raila and Jaramogi “died SUDDENLY” and that he believed “Raila would never die” and that he hoped “Raila should have lived to vie for the presidency in 2027.” If Raila lived up to 2027 and vied as Orengo wished, he would have been an ailing and weak 83 year-old. Orengo and other Raila Orphans desperately wanted Raila to live forever, not because they genuinely loved and cared about him; they wanted him to live into perpetuity so that they could continue clinging to him for political survival. They know that without Raila imposing them on the people despite their decades of failure, they are politically dead. That’s why they have been pretending to mourn, wail and invoke Raila’s name and claim to be embodiments of Raila’s “political legacy.” What they are doing is, frankly speaking, amounts to human worship. The cynical elevation of a human being into a deity—a god. But mourning for one year is unusual in any society or culture. Spending colossal sums of public funds under the guise of “honouring Baba” in a country where poverty levels, unemployment, food insecurity, homelessness and other maladies rival those of failed states, is a callous and an insensitive act. But they continue to do so because they understand that without Raila, their ostentatious lifestyles are jeopardized. And they care more about their fake and unmerited lifestyles than of the people they pretend to represent and/or of Raila. In a country of more than 55 million people, with more than 75% living in squalor, 65% unemployed and 80% without quality healthcare, while about 15 families control 90% of the country’s wealth, we have too many problems to spend one whole month worshipping a politician who died past 80 years of age one year ago. Instead of spending hundreds of millions of shillings building monuments for dead politicians who left tens of billions of shillings that they never earned for their families, we should spend the money creating employment, providing universal healthcare, educating the people of their genuine history and initiating programs for transforming the society—from top to bottom. The hundreds of billions they are wasting on grand mausoleums, helicopters, fixed wing planes, gas guzzlers, hotel accommodations and other excesses would have been better utilized on our most vulnerable members of society. They speak of equity, equality and national interests but spend scarce public resources pampering families of billionaires and themselves. For @WilliamsRuto and his UDA mandarins, invoking Raila’s name is a political campaign gimmick to hoodwink the Luo Nation that he cares about them. But every sensible and honest person knows that it’s a convenient game. For the so-called opposition and the Linda bandits, Raila’s name is the equivalent of a twig in the middle of the ocean for a drowning man. For the majority of Kenyans, invoking Raila’s name is a cowardly recoil from confronting reality. They understand that Raila had betrayed the spirit of the 2024 GenZ protests when he cut a deal with Ruto on their blood. But because they are cowardly and can’t continue the struggle up to the bitter end, they use Raila’s death and purported heroism as a hiding place. Let me disappoint the dishonest, hypocrites, opportunists and cowards to hurl epithets at me: Raila Amolo Odinga did not die a hero. To claim that he is the greatest Kenyan who ever lived is not only to be dishonest; it is to desecrate the legacies of real heroes who lived honestly throughout and sacrificed their lives for posterity. Viva!

Emmanuel Taalam is in prison, and the life he once knew appears to have fallen apart. The OCS whose name is linked to the murder of Albert Ojwang is now behind bars, while the personal relationships he may have thought were secure have moved on without him. His wife left him for a fellow police officer who was his friend. His mpango wa kando was evicted from her house in Ngara and has since married a matatu driver. Imagine spending your life wearing a uniform, wielding authority and believing you have control, only to find yourself behind prison walls as the people you expected to remain in your life move on. The uniform could command respect, but it could not command loyalty. The position could give authority, but it could not guarantee companionship. And now, prison walls cannot turn back the hands of time. But the most painful part of this story is not who left whom. It is Albert Ojwang, a young Kenyan whose life was cut short, leaving a family to live with a loss no marriage, money or new relationship can repair. Let this be a reminder to every officer who mistakes a badge for a licence to abuse power: authority is temporary, and nobody is above the law. Albert Ojwang is gone. Taalam is in prison. And justice must not stop at the prison gates.

Ruto been President for four years, yet whenever someone questions him, he somehow finds a way of behaving as if the critic must first produce their own presidential scorecard before being allowed to speak. Sifuna has never been President, so asking him to explain leadership like he has been sitting in State House with ministries, budgets, security agencies and the entire government machine is already comedy by itself. Now that Raila is no longer available as the permanent villain, Ruto keeps searching for a new political host with the desperation of a tick that has suddenly fallen off the cow and discovered the ground is very cold. They tried Uhuru, that story eventually became tired, and now Sifuna is getting the attention because apparently somebody must always be available whenever questions about government performance become uncomfortable. At this rate, if a mosquito becomes popular tomorrow morning, Ruto will probably attack it by lunchtime because the man seems permanently thirsty for a new host. I actually enjoy seeing Ruto this confused, because for years there was always someone else to blame, always some enemy frustrating government, always some political villain standing between him and greatness. Sifuna can be loud, arrogant, irritating or whatever else his critics want to call him, but there is one tiny problem in this argument..... Sifuna has never been President of Kenya. The man who has actually been President should probably answer questions about his own record before demanding leadership credentials from every Kenyan who opens their mouth.
