I'm pleased with the results. My adrenalin was pumping. But with "the people have spoken," Warnock is wrong, trapped in a 235 year misconception that single-winner elections can be representative, or decisive. #ProportionalRepresentation

Musk's Trump poll & response lay bare problems with US winner-take-all elections generally: binary choice, unrepresentative electorate, likely resource-dependent manipulation, and claims that a slim majority means "the people" have decisively and meaningfully spoken.

"Strangest Midterms" per NYT. Hardly. 469 separately stupid, obscenely $$$, outrageously scandal-dependent, predictably unrepresentative see-saws. #proportionalrepresentation sane number multi-party, multi-winner elections, diverse interests always fairly heard… maybe just 1.

Gobsmacked this week by extremism masquerading as majority opinion? Cpmmit to #ProportionalRepresentation: a political place for everyone, so no one exceeds their rightful political place. When you're under-represented, others must be over-represented.

Progressive Dems justly frustrated with Sen. Sinema, but this typical response quoted in NYT misses the key problem of running, winning, and governing within limited two-party system: "her voters" are not just progressive Dems. When all heard freely, coalitions make better laws.

In Germany, good to see the racist/fascist AfD fall from 13% to 11%; even better to know that a great showing would have only raised them from 13% to, say, 15%. Compare to risk of supposed "majority" wins for same under US winner-take-all elections. #ProportionalRepresentation

So much to watch for in today's German election results, but along with the wonderfully representative mixed-member proportional system, there's universal voting for any 18+ citizen, without registration.

Slam dunk predictions 2 weeks before German elections, w/o polls: 1) all voters win representation; 2) multiple parties win seats in proportion to votes won; 3) responsible governing coalition forms; and 4) stability AND change occur, to the degrees voters so choose. #ProRep
