@mindyoaccount @jimmykimmel He's not allowed to. Even though the network fired him I'm sure they still own him and the rights to anything he does for years.

I’ve been thinking So what’s the difference between @BlackRock’s BUIDL and @Lynq_Network ‘s TFND token if they both rely on 40 act structures??? On the surface, both are tokenized Treasury funds using ’40 Act structures—but they’re built for very different reasons. BUIDL is about putting money on-chain. It lets qualified investors access short-duration U.S. Treasuries via ERC-20 tokens on Ethereum. You mint BUIDL by depositing USDC through Securitize, and in return, you get a tokenized share in a money market fund that earns yield. It’s perfect for fintechs, DAOs, and protocols looking to park idle cash in a regulated, dollar-denominated instrument without off-ramping. But BUIDL stops there—it’s not plugged into a larger institutional infrastructure. There’s no settlement engine, no multi-party network, and no standardized post-trade framework. You can move it wallet to wallet, but it’s not designed to coordinate institutional flows across exchanges, custodians, and counterparties. That’s where Lynq is fundamentally different. It takes a similar structure—tokenized shares in a U.S. Treasury fund (TFND)—but embeds them into a fully built settlement layer. Exchanges like Crypto.com, market makers like B2C2 and Wintermute, and custodians like U.S. Bank are already integrated. Tokens don’t just sit—they flow. Through Lynq, institutions can use TFND to settle OTC trades, fund exchange accounts, move capital between custodians, and do it all in real time—while earning yield on idle balances until the moment of transfer. And it’s governed by a broker-dealer framework (via @tZERO with KYC’d, compliant participants on a shared ledger. BUIDL is an investment product Lynq is a financial utility Both are important. One parks money. The other moves it

What caught my eye is how @Lynq_Network is trying to become a utility layer for capital markets participants Right now, moving capital between exchanges, OTC desks, custodians, and funds is clunky. Different systems, delays, and lots of operational friction. Lynq simplifies

Just dug into @Lynq_Network and how it was built. It’s honestly one of the most complete institutional settlement designs that I’ve seen, with collaboration across different organizations within TradFi and crypto At a high level it’s a real-time, yield-bearing settlement network built by a consortium of participants The engine behind it is a tokenized US Treasury fund called $TFND issued by @arcalabs -Instead of holding idle cash in a clearing account, you hold TFND tokens so every “settlement balance” is still working for you @tassatgroup runs the blockchain infra (same team that built those private payment rails for banks) @avax is the base L1 where the TFND lives @tZERO brings in broker-dealer compliance and KYC/AML rails @usbank acts as custodian + treasury ops This settlement layer is a full-stack, fully regulated approach to programmable settlement The value it brings to the financial institution is that it allows for settlement of trades in real time, reduce counterparty & clearing risk, yield on idle funds, and all while staying fully compliant with existing reg frameworks This approach takes existing fund structures and layers smart contract rails underneath to leverage the efficiencies of blockchain technology Also participants don’t have to wait for batch netting or T+1 because it can settle instantly when they want, with finality- everything settles in TFND, which is backed by treasuries For example, imagine a hedge fund doing OTC trades or cross-exchange arb instead of wiring cash or relying on slow custodians. They just send TFND and settle the trade instantly and earn yield while waiting. The real value prop here is capital efficiency and market trust- this isn’t meant to compete with DeFi- it’s built to bring institutions onchain without skipping compliance Lynq is what you get when tradfi builds onchain the right way, not hype, not half-baked. Just programmable infrastructure that actually works for funds #Blockchain #DeFi #Avalanche #Crypto
