Sometimes I wonder how many vet appointments get cancelled last minute because they couldn’t get their cat in the carrier.

adult friendships have taught me that sometimes the person you regard as a “close friend” isn’t really your friend. and that’s okay, take your L and move on.

idk if something switched in my brain or im just getting older, but people being negative about shit all the time is so exhausting. like making fun of relatively harmless stuff and tearing it apart makes you exhausting to be around

The shit people expect you to get over is usually shit they'd lose their fucking minds over if you did it to them.

I don't mind being corrected. I mind being corrected by someone who is clearly more interested in embarrassing me than helping me understand.

y’all ever lose a friend and realize you didn’t actually lose a friend… you just lost someone you thought was your friend.

My toxic trait is I'll let things slide a million times then randomly decide today is the day everybody learns a lesson.

Why is it people think its ok to constantly try to get introverts out of their comfort zone - but no one is ever trying to get extroverts to shut the fuck up for a little while? 🤔
