@samir People constantly go on and off their stoop when I walk by and I think "does your insurance company know about this?" 🤔

@Renatta @NYCMayor You truly have no idea what you're talking about. Stay in your lane. No one here needs your commentary.

@samir glhomes.com/lotus-edge/ You mean this? I drove by once (on the way to get a very large chicken Caesar wrap in Boca, as one does) and it was very sinister looking.

@andrewbstern FISP (LL11) architect here. We often see more items of concern on postwar (white brick, etc.) buildings than their prewar counterparts. Spalling bricks, too few/no masonry anchors/anchors that are corroded away, etc. FISP is not a policy failure.

@samir They found that houses without eaves had a greater probability of surviving (eaves catch embers). I was also fascinated about why/how passive houses survived the fires.

Thank you for joining us at last night's Annual Holiday Lighting! 🌲 If you missed it, the trees will remain lit on the Harlem Meer throughout December. Shout out to the Conservancy team who worked on the flotilla: it features 17 fir trees adorned with 10,000 lights!
