@MarinerDebra @jack_gandy @NimeshPatel101 @owenjones84 @scot_tigger He's got a point though. Can you justify how misappropriating taxes and running down infrastructure that was once the envy of the world is patriotism? We're all ears.

@oluoluoxenfree I think the journey I've found best success with is just swapping up social interactions now and then - Instead of meeting friends for food, invite them for a long walk and talk, or if any have any active hobbies, take interest and go and try them!

@MarinaBL10 @_100DaysOfCode I'd say it completely depends on what that person wants to do / make! Personally, I think Java or C# are as good a starting point as any!

@northernassist getting northern rail’d hard this morning. Train before cancelled, this train has two carriages. I’m not even surprised anymore.

@northernassist Can you stop sending 1/2 the amount of trains as required, 2 times as late as the boards say, with less than 1/4th of the seats required? Cheers.

@paf31 Personal experience has been that although there’s a subset of devs within a company that want to use more FP, there’s more that are unwilling / unable to spare the time to upskill, due to more important day to day responsibilities.

@educostadev Step 1) Remind yourself you're going to die one day Step 2) Think of things you want to get done before that point. Step 3) If you can validate an idea for some study you've had against those goals - You know it makes sense, and you should study. Otherwise, take the night off...

@EmmaWedekind Software dev at any company that respects your need to stay relevant! Your ability to work in the future to stay afloat is your biggest asset, don’t accept companies where you’re putting that asset at risk. You wouldn’t work a job that stole your possessions!

@lynchy010 I have very little in way of comparison (only been developing 2 years), but it was quick to get used to! Relatively easy to integrate with for this app, definitely worth a play with (at some point)

@lynchy010 I've recently finished "Developing an Electron Edge" - Just wanted to say thanks for an extremely useful wee book! Smashed through it and developed a bunch of apps in no time; pictured is a build monitoring tool / shortcut tool I built while reading your book!

@Spotify Not having any luck with your customer support team. Google cancelled my Google Home Mini order from your promotion, they say it’s your fault, your guys are saying it’s Google’s fault. What do?

@burnleybuses heads up, there’s a bunch of spice heads hotboxing the x43 currently between prestwich and rawtenstall. Stinks and older people have had to move downstairs. Anything you can do?
