@TomCollomosse @AllLoveLeeds @Alex_Berwick The real difference from a Villa perspective and N’castle/Leeds etc is we have performed in Europe AND sustained league “success” over four years. Winning the UEFA will be a fantastic stepping stone - but hopefully not the end of the upward trajectory.

Wolves ). 90s Forest one good season (3rd) Villa Leeds competing in a cup; CP winning it; Newcastle winning LC. In last 2 years. need EPL £

@mistersimons @henrywinter It’s simple bias/corruption. used to think it was “input error” but it’s so “super six”bias. Same with the transfer window - team in 17th no Europe buy £150 million of “talent” - including World Cup winner in prime. Team in 6th sell their best. Crooked and skewed.

@J_Tanswell The percentage matchday revenue v total turnover is quite small. Clubs (not just Villa) want rid of legacy fans so GA+/corporate - pricing them out is a good way of going about it whilst blaming the Premier League rules - which of course those clubs created and voted for.

@mistersimons Yes. But we weren’t 6 down. Appreciate the games against Ipswich, Wolves, Yanited Bournemouth at home probably really cost us, even with our poor away form, just so galling that it was a goal … but … well, there we go.
