I'm lost in the myriad of writing reports that is prowriting aid. How did I end up with 1134 errors to correct?!

My 9 yo used the word "prose" when describing his library book today. I'm so proud! #momswhowrite #writerslife #writermom

6yo: please can you cut my nails and work on my tenticles. Me: did you mean cuticles? 6yo: no tenticles. Today I'm part octopus because I have lots to do. Me: OK. Can you teach me to be part octopus - I also have lots to do! 6yo: um, you don't have the skills to be octopus mom😂

8yo: I'm writing my book report. How do you spell Arthur? Me: A-r-t-h-u-r. Who wrote the book? 8yo: Bear Grylls. Me: So who is Arthur? 8yo: Bear Grylls is the Arthur! (eye roll). Have I failed as a #momswhowrite? #itsauthor 😂😂 #writerslife #writer #amwriting

Lessons from lockdown: you cannot let your youngish children have a "living room camp out and stay up" night too many times without consequences. Usually the consequences are whiny tired messes of children for a couple days 😕😕 #momswhowrite #lockdownlessons #writerslife

6yo: there's a pet rock in the eel stream mom. Me: do you think the eels painted it using tiny paint brushes in their mouths? 6yo: don't be silly, the eels can't paint underwater. 😂😂😂

Lesson from lockdown #2: never ask a child to be quiet when you are on a business Zoom meeting. This, of course, is secret child-code for screaming "mom I found your stretchy fat pants in the dryer", or the like. #momswhowrite #writermom #momslife #writerslife #writer

Something I have learnt in lockdown: paper planes can stab you in the eye. Also... this is going to be a long 4 weeks. #amwriting #writerscommunity #writerslife #writermom #momslife #momswhowrite

@ChandraBlumberg It's like indoor Hunger Games in my house. I'm hoping the odds stay in my favour (can't let those little people win!)
