@patriciogv @Raspberry_Pi a Qoocam 8K or any other 360 camera would be also interesting for faster stitching in postprocess. Pi cams does not have very wide angle, so It may take long time to get 360 panorama (need pan & tilt). I don't think you can plug multiple picams on the same raspberry
@patriciogv Ok, GPS module and GeoTag support are really good to have. By chance, I own a "Skywatcher Acuter AZ Merlin". It should work with Nextar controller as well. Now thinking that with this rig, it would be easy to swap the Lidar with a DSLR an get 360HDR for RGB values ;)
@patriciogv What are the pros of a NexStar Mount compared to a stepper motor? The DC motors could give a drift on looping. Are you trying to set the A1 on its "nodal point" ?
