@optimistic_exit @philipwalford @eni_iljazi Can't forget the engagement-baiting contrarians too. They usually have a take on everything

@ottowner @RobbySabo Spot the lie though. So much of today's issues fall back to just tremendously bad play calling on defense

@PKilgallen Ooooooh brother. The pro-Glenn crowd is just as disinterested in having real discussions, it’s just that they shirk away after losses and the anti-Glenn people get shouted down after wins

@deiontrae__ Good teams don’t end up with three firsts in one draft, we shouldn’t treat them like they’re freebies or house money

@NDS1089 The Jets are going to find themselves in another couple year quagmire because they either stick with this regime another year too long or they get rid of Glenn and can't get buy in from coaching candidates without a decent QB opportunity

@Psizzle22684 Nothing says it has to. It's more likely that we bring in a legit vet backup QB and turn to them if the rookie is bad enough We're so conditioned to bad coaches that we forget that the default isn't incompetence

@BowTiedYukon Hot take but I couldn't care less if people don't re-rack weights. Scum move but it's such a nothingburger

@Psizzle22684 You aren't locked into a bad QB, especially if you're a good coach. You can absolutely move on from a bad QB instead of sinking with the ship. Good coaches are more likely to try something different at QB anyways

@Psizzle22684 No, let's go back to the conversation you opened with Why does it "not matter the coach?" Do you not feel more confident in a good coach to survive and rebound out of a QB bust compared to missing on coach? It's objectively better to get a good HC than not, duh

@JCaporoso I can't see this team turn to Klubnik without an injury. No one owes him his audition and the team probably won't win another game if he's the QB

@CashCastroTweet @jetsNYjetsNYJet No, it’s a 3-4 win team because it’s Glenn at the helm. There’s no chance they win 6 games with him

@CashCastroTweet @jetsNYjetsNYJet The roster is a 6-7 win roster and the coach is a 3-4 win coach. People criticizing the team are pointing out how bad Glenn has been

What do you mean "what does it have to do with it?" If your expectation was that the coaching staff was tanking, you're ridiculous. You can expect that the team would naturally suck its way to landing Arch, but that's a separate thing No one thinks we're a fringe playoff team, they just acknowledge that this coaching staff isn't doing enough to get year 3

@MannyNYJets The issue is that there would still be the concern about how we keep blowing timeouts, getting delays of game, and don’t seem to have any creativity. We’d just be talking about it week 6 instead of week 4

@penguin74us The problem is that the Jets usually don’t tank, they usually just stink. The “you don’t need to tank” QBs usually require your infrastructure to be more established than ours is
